As thousands of protestors converge on New York’s financial district to celebrate the one year anniversary of Occupy Wall Street yesterday, we attended one of the smaller gatherings in Washington Square Park organized in anticipation of today’s events.
Two protestors, donning Barack Obama and Mitt Romney masks, addressed serious issues like corporate personhood, campaign finance reform, and free speech in the typical over the top, carnival-esque tone that we’ve come to expect from Occupy.
