We weren’t too surprised when massive home-builder CEO David Siegel decided to threaten his employees into voting against Obama, but for the Republican presidential candidate to encourage employers to do so is shameful. In These Times recently unearthed audio from a conference call between Romney and business owners, in which he said:
I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections.
